An Important Update from Rach

As those of you who receive our email newsletter may already be aware, a few weeks ago, I received a call to say that I have now reached the top of the waiting list for laparoscopic surgery, a procedure to remove some of my endometriosis. I have come to the decision that SEND Yogis will need to pause all sessions whilst I take a period of time off for recovery. My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday 2nd July, so the last day for sessions will be Monday 30th June. I anticipate that my body will need a fair amount of time to recover from this, so I plan to return to work at the start of September, giving myself around 9 weeks to make a full recovery, and therefore not need to take any further time off once I return.

I truly am sorry to have to pause things for so long, however I feel this has come at the best time of year as the School Summer Holidays mean lots of us are away or need a little break from our usual routines.

I am conscious that when we do not see each other in person for some time, it can be difficult to return to our ‘normal’ routine, as the continuing working relationship we have been building has been halted. To minimise the difficulty of this, I will be offering some video/phone call appointments to check in with each other throughout late July and August. I understand that video/phone calls can be more challenging, so completely understand if this is not of interest; I am keen to offer a way to stay present with each other while our normal sessions cannot take place.

Below are the dates for all the upcoming sessions that will still go ahead, along with the proposed video/phone call schedules and return dates for September:

Please note: all dates for July and August are proposed, and are subject to how Rach's recovery is progressing.

Before I finish for my surgery, SY+ will launch in its initial 'early access' phase. Although I am aware this does not fully compare to what an in-person session offers, it does mean that there is a way for you to access a variety of short practices and sessions, allowing you to continue some form of yoga.

If you have any questions after processing what I have explained in this post, or want to discuss anything further, please feel free to reach out via email or text message to go through this with me.

Thank you for your anticipated understanding and patience.
